Solace.

You’ll realize this, one fine day

That you don’t belong here, in this today

Your heart might be a million years old

And your mind might look for things that no one knows

That you accept change with a smile on your face

But letting someone go will ache your soul

That you won’t fear the newness in the air

If the winter is over too soon, you won’t complain

But when you give your heart, to mend it is so much pain

That you hold what you love so close, so that it would remain

You bring chaos to the table, with the thoughts you display

You bring calmness to the ones, who know your innate

They confuse you to scare you, hold you back, and so beware

You are one of a kind, and a kind that needs to be there

Your heart looks for solace and your mind for freedom

So accept who you are, and everything will fall into place.

The sun will shine bright, the night will be clearer

Just hold yourself tight, as your paradise is near.

So just hold yourself tight.

Solace.

You’ll realize this, one fine day That you don’t belong here, in this today Your heart might be a million years old And you...
